Do you have an age limit?


We leave that completely up to our customers, and at parent's discretion. Bring whoever you'd like and we'll scare them all the same. Just remember there are NO REFUNDS for any reason. We do not recommend holding small children while going through our attractions.




Are your haunted attractions wheelchair accessible?


Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible.




Are strobe light's, fog, or chainsaw's involved?


You better believe it! All the above will be used at some point in time in our attractions during your experience with us. If this becomes too intense for you, there are emergency exits throughout our attractions. Just ask one of our actors to show you the way out.




Do you have on-site restrooms?


YES - We have multiple porta potties located on-site throughout the haunt season that are cleaned weekly. Just don't forget, no place is safe while on our property. Our monsters are lurking around every corner so keep your eyes peeled.




Do you have on-site security?


YES - We have on-site security provided by the Nicholasville Police Department. We will use them as a backup of course if you decide to cause a ruckus. First dibs go to our monsters, we try to keep them well fed.




Do you have food and drinks available on-site?


YES - We have a food truck on-site each night we are open throughout the haunt season. If you're looking for fresh squeezed lemonade, deep fried oreos, philly cheesesteaks and more, they have you covered. Note that food and drinks are NOT ALLOWED within our attractions.




Do you advise against certain types of footwear?


YES - We strongly recommend NO Flip Flops and NO High Heels.




What if I get too scared and want to exit while in a haunt?


If this happens, please ask one of our actors in the haunt to show you to one of our many emergency exits throughout our attractions.




How long is the wait time for each haunted attraction?


This varies from night to night. The later in the haunt season the busier we get. We recommend that you purchase your tickets online to skip the wait line of purchasing tickets on-site. That way when you arrive you can head straight to receive your wrist band from our staff and then right to our haunted attractions. Don't forget to check out our speed pass option when purchasing tickets if you're worried about waiting in line at the attractions.




How long does it take to go through each haunted attraction?


Each attraction takes between 15-20 minutes to go through. All depending upon how fast you run that is.




How many can go through a haunted attraction at the same time?


Nightmare Haunted House can have a group size of 4-6 people. Valley of the Dead can have a group size of 6-8 people. The Hunted can have a group size of 4-6 people.




What if I'm pregnant or have a health condition and want to go through?


We DO NOT advise you to go through our attractions if you're pregnant. However, that is entirely up to you. The same goes for any health conditions you may have. You know what your body can handle better than we do.




Do the actors touch you?


We are a TOUCH FREE Haunt. Our actors will NOT TOUCH you, if you DO NOT TOUCH them. However, they do get close to you in our attractions, their costumes and props may brush against you. If for some reason they do touch you, please let us know and we'll take care of the situation.




What is your pricing?


Our prices vary upon how many of our haunted attractions you'd like to experience. Click on the Ticket icon at the top of our website for more information.

Are your haunted attractions located in the same place?


YES - All 3 of our haunted attractions are at the same location within walking distance from each other.




Is smoking/vaping allowed?


YES - Smoking and vaping are only allowed outside, a safe distance away from our attractions or in the parking lot. Smoking and vaping are NOT ALLOWED within our haunted attractions. You will be asked to leave if you break this rule.




Do you serve alcohol?


NO - Alcohol is not allowed on our property. You will be asked to leave if you break this rule.




Can I be thrown out for any reason?


YES - We do not tolerate or allow foul language, pushing/fighting, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. If we feel that you are a threat to our actors, staff, or customers, you will not be allowed to stay on our property. At the bottom of our website you can find a link to our full list of rules and regulations.




Do your haunted attractions change yearly?


YES - We are constantly working on changing and improving our attractions each year. We want you to have the best experience possible and for you to return and maybe even bring a friend. From our set designs, themes, scares, extra mini attractions, all the way to our new characters and old ones that are constanlty evolving, we want to make sure that Wicked World Scaregrounds stays being called one of Kentucky's Most Terrifying Haunted Houses.




What happens if it rains, will you close?


Two of our three haunted attractions are indoor and will always be available even if it rains. Our outdoor attraction, however, may be closed if there is heavy enough rain causing issues with letting people go through. If it is raining and you'd like to check on closings, feel free to give us a call.




Can I take photos while in the haunted attractions?


No pictures are allowed within the attractions, however we have plenty of monsters roaming around outside who are happy to take pictures with you. Don't forget to #WICKEDWORLD on social media.




How can I join the Wicked World Scaregrounds team?


You must be at least 16 years old to work at Wicked World. If you're under 18 you must have a parent or guardians' signature. Please email us at wickedworldsg@gmail.com with your name, age, address, phone, and email. We will get back to you as soon as possible.




I would like to do a story on Wicked World Scaregrounds, how do I?

Do you offer coupons or discounts?


YES - Prior to the start of our haunt season and throughout, we may offer coupons or discounts through email or on our social media platforms. You can join our mailing list and click on any of our social media icons to find us at the bottom of our website. You may even find some of our post cards with discounts at the Halloween Express located in Lexington, KY.




I purchased my tickets online, now what happens?


After you purchase a ticket online, you will receive an email with your ticket(s) to print. You must have this printout or be able to show proof on your smart phone to our staff upon arrival. Then you'll receive your wrist band and be ready to head straight to our haunted attractions.




Can I come back and use my tickets for another night?


YES - Any attractions that you bought a ticket to go through and did not, you are more than welcome to come back another night. IF you are still wearing the wrist band that we provided you with showing proof that you didn't go through all the attractions you purchased for.




Do you offer group rates?


YES - Only if you have a large group of 20 or more people. Please contact us if you're interested in pricing. The discounted rate you are required to pay up front to secure.




Does one speed pass work for each haunted attraction?


YES - If you purchase a speed pass along with your single, combo, or triple threat ticket, it will work at each attraction you purchased to go through.




What if I purchased tickets and it's closing time?


We will stay open for as long as it takes to get everyone through our attractions that is at our location, with a purchased ticket and ready to be scared.




When do you stop selling tickets?


We stop selling tickets at our scheduled closing time for the night. To see our current schedule for the haunt season, visit our Dates & Location page. We will not sell any tickets for any reason after our scheduled closing time.




Is there an ATM machine on-site?


NO - We do not have an ATM on-site. If you are needing cash, we advise that you get some before you arrive.




Do you charge sales tax?


If using a credit card there is a 6% sales tax fee plus a 3% processing fee included. To bypass the extra fees, you can always pay with cash.




Do you give refunds?


NO - There are absolutely NO REFUNDS for any reason. So be sure that you're ready for what awaits you before handing over that cash.




Do you have parking on-site and how much does it cost?


YES - We do have parking on-site and there is no cost to do so.
